New Cardiovascular Horizons is the 4th largest Cardiovascular conference in the nation and the largest medical meeting to focus on PAD (peripheral artery disease) and peripheral interventions. Now in our 11th year, we are the longest running "head-to-toe" meeting that brings together the whole multidisciplinary team to concentrate on limb salvage and amputation prevention techniques.
Our vision of a multidisciplinary team consists of interventional cardiologists, surgeons, podiatrists, family practice physicians, wound care specialists, physical therapists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, cath lab technologists, and any allied health professionals who have the ability to effect patient outcomes and help preserve mobility, decrease mortality and improve the lives of our patients.
Education is the key and our goal is to provide comprehensive offerings for the whole team both in a general session "learn together" atmosphere and also in individual breakout sessions where attendees can concentrate on their personalized specialties. We are proud to offer live interventional limb salvage cases as one of our many learning techniques, along with didactic lectures, hands-on technology labs and workshops.
If you have questions about our meeting, please do not hesitate to call us at 337-993-7920. We look forward to seeing you June 2-5, 2010 at the beautiful historic landmark hotel, The Roosevelt Waldorf-Astoria, in New Orleans, LA.
